You should use a teen one at first, and its easier to insert on your period. You can sleep wiht it in without tss as long as you change right before bed and when you wakeup. You can swim with it and play any spots. The worst you will feel is something inside as you play, but you learn to ignore that feeling. It shouldn't hurt the first time and it takes a few weeks til you really don't care you have one inside. It only goes one place between your legs, and it needs to go all the way in so only the string is left on the outside of your vagina.
