I need period help! Asap!!?

So this is my 2 period and I only use tampons!! Keep that in mind and so anyways there is nothing on the tampon when I pull it out( I leave it in for around 5 to 8 hours) so I think my period is over but then if I leave the tampon out there is a lot of blood all over my pad (that I use just in case it's not over) this has been happening for the last 2 days and I cant use pads because I hate them and they make me cry and feel like I have a dipper on! So any advice will help!! Thanks!! And I am 13 if that helps at all
