Custody of babies in cases where both parents are under 18?

A court will want him to be around if he's willing to be around and you really have no say so in that. If he's not on the birth certificate than he could get a court ordered paternity where you would HAVE to do it. Then he'd be determined the father and if he is not proved 'unfit' then he will have the right to the child, not full custody but joint custody. Also, if you or your baby are on any government assistance (WIC, food stamps, Medicaid, etc.) they will automatically MAKE you and him do a paternity test and you will have to file for child support.
