2011 Earth science regents ?'s?

i was wondering what the one that said why does the iceland place have cooler summers and warmer winters? I put that it was because there was more precipitation in winter meaning warmer air was present because it had to rise and condense and in summer there was less precipitation meaning there wasnt warm air present. also if anyone knows the big dipper X question tell me i put it 180 degrees on the other side. and is it cP because its not in the arctic circle, its on the continent and someone said its in the wet zone but i thought it doesnt matter cause its cold up there. plz answer with a short explanation.........
